Your outfit makes a statement, and this photoshoot is all amount marking this moment in time. So here are some tips and tricks to help you choose the right clothing for our photoshoot.

Close your eyes and envision what your dream photo look is. A sweeping dress or a button up shirt falling off your shoulder.... your children all matching or maybe expressing their individuality. Your vision is the perfect starting point.
Now that we have our dream, let’s bring it down a notch to reality. Will your dress be comfortable? Will your kids complain in those outfits? Let’s make sure that your’e not constantly adjusting or feeling exposed. Try on your outfits and feel free to send me photos if you want a second opinion.
Our photoshoot will have enough time to allow for an outfit change so take advantage of creating two looks! I suggest bringing an outfit that is easy to change into so it doesn’t take too much time away from our shoot and make sure you bring all the aspects of the outfit (like that belt or accessory). Don't bring extra options to decide in the moment, we are here to get the most out of your session!
Let’s talk about colors and location so you can make the most of our photoshoot. There are certain colors that might be best for your skin tone, the weather, the location or the season. I suggest using a color palette so there are some different gradients between each member of the photoshoot. Feel free to add some patterns and fun textures, but I would stay away from shirts with words or large icons on them.
Now that everyones’ outfits are sparkling clean and you all tried them on to make sure no last minute changes need to be made, it’s time to shine! No matter what you are wearing, it’s about how you feel. There are no wrong colors or patterns. It’s just about you being you!
